She is also the founder and first president of the UNLV Ludomusicology Society, an organization dedicated to promoting discussion and research of ludomusicology between students and bringing more awareness and appreciation to the subject. She has travelled internationally to study music and have pieces performed while also being a member of groups such as the Millennium Composer Initiative (MCI), a group of composers that’s meant for exposing and providing opportunity for up-and-coming composers of all kinds of backgrounds and styles, as well as Phi Kappa Lambda.

When not writing music, she enjoys cooking, video games, creative writing, and animation. She also has two parakeets named Fune and Yonsei and a dog named Winnie that she spends more time talking with than most people.
