Global Game Jam 2022

This game soundtrack was made during the 2022 Global Game Jam. Janay was in charge of the music, sound design, and part of the writing for this game. The game was nominated by the NYU Game Center that hosted the jam for best narrative and best gameplay.

Alba Music Festival 2021

The piece “From Dark to Dawn” was specifically written for Transient Canvas and premiered during this weeklong celebration of music in Alba, Italy, along with many other works by a variety of composers.

Global Game Jam 2021

All three of these games listed contain music by Janay Maisano, and the games Flow State and Reviver contain sound design work by her as well. All three games took part in the 2021 Global Game Jam.

私のダーリン真珠 - My Darling Pearl

“My Darling Pearl” was a solo tenor saxophone piece commissioned by Drew Hosler, a renowned tenor saxophonist, back at the very beginning of 2020. A year later after the piece’s completion, Drew was able to perform the piece with the accompaniment of Dr. Liz Ames. The piece will also be featured on the album delta waves, a collection of solo tenor saxophone pieces by Drew Hosler.
